How to Get to the Tower of London
Navigate the London Underground to the Tower Hill Station. Tower Hill is across the street from the Tower of London (Immediately North). An alternate London Underground Station is Tower Gateway. The Tower of London is adjacent to Tower Bridge and Tower Bridge Road. If arriving by railway the nearest station is Fenchurch Street located 4 blocks to the Northwest. Just walk to the gate on the North side and present your tickets. Enjoy the tour of the Tower of London.
Plan to arrive during the opening times which are:
Tues-Sat 9:00 – 16:30 and Sun-Mon 10:00 – 16:30 (Last entrance at 16:00)
If you come to the Tower too late you will be left taking photos of the outside.
You can pre-purchase your tickets online at hrp.org.uk to save a few pounds, or just show up and pay regular price. Tickets bought online are valid for 7 days so if your plans change, you will be ok. Tickets bought by phone incur a surcharge so avoid buying by phone unless you can’t buy online or in person.
